Our lives intertwined over the years…. From my teenager school days, when I would ride over to Cliftonville on Lottie at the weekend to your house for a wee drink or two. To the halcyon days of Sarre Court, brimming with fun times including the Captain’s table for Sunday Lunch and not forgetting the numerous girlie lunches, full of laughter as it extended into the evening…
a very long lunch!
Finding this collage from 32 years ago (on Richard and my wedding day in Monkton) transports us to a bygone era. Always surrounded with love from friends and family
Mary was one of Peggy’s bestest of friends and you can hear the laughter ringing in your ears… they were forever on the phone or meeting up for a glass of something to carry on sharing news and stories, pure entertainment.
Mary was so elegant and took so much pride in her style. She was a trend setter, I remember being so impressed as she was the first person I knew to have a TV in her kitchen.
Mary was such a joy to be around and I can imagine the parties will be continuing now that they are all reunited.
God Bless ♥
